Beijing Business Daily reported (reporter Guo Binlu): On August 21, Beijing Business Daily learned that the 300th store of Beston Burger V BURGER nationwide was opened in Wuhan. At the same time, the brand officially announced that Wang Anyu became the spokesperson for Beston Burger V BURGER. From the first store in Shenzhen to coverage of 36 cities nationwide, Beston Burger has been opening 10 new stores every 8 days on average.

Pizza Hut brand general manager Kui Jun said: “Two years after launching the hamburger category, Pizza Hut hopes to meet more consumers’ tastes by continuing to build the ‘Must-Win Burger module’, so that the hamburger category can reach a new level.”

The scale rollout of V BURGER depends on the parent company’s supply-chain advantages. Yum China has already built a nationwide integrated supply-chain network for Trust Supply, with delivery coverage across more than 1,000 towns and cities in China. Leveraging this system, V BURGER can achieve nationwide standardized procurement of ingredients at high quality and warehousing-and-delivery operations. The beef, fruits and vegetables, and dough ingredient inputs for all stores follow the same quality standards.

On August 7, Yum China announced that it has completed the acquisition of all ownership of the Pizza Hut brand in mainland China. The company said that in the future, V BURGER will accelerate its entry into the high-frequency single-diner fast-food track with support from the group’s resources on all fronts. As an important complement to Pizza Hut China beyond its traditional mealtimes and dining scenarios, V BURGER is expected to become a new growth engine for the group.

Industry data shows that in 2025, the domestic Western fast-food market in China is approaching 500 billion yuan. Hamburgers are the largest category within Western fast food. Among fast-food consumption orders, single-diner orders account for nearly half. Demand among younger consumers for both dining efficiency and quality continues to rise.
