$BTC 24 hours to hit $76,342, a single-day gain of 9.39%.

The U.S. Dollar Index sat at 98.77, nearly pressed against the 98.7 line without much movement; the yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasuries was 4.697%, also failing to break above the 4.7 mark. With both lines holding there, crypto actually moved more lightly.

Stablecoins saw the opposite trend—net inflows increased: USDT at 183 billion, USDC at 72.8 billion; just today, USDC added another $536 million. The money waiting on the sidelines to enter is still piling up.

But the spot-fund channel is stuck: it hasn’t moved for a full year as of 2025-08-20. The most recent daily figure was a net outflow of -$316 million. Spot trading on-chain is picking up, but the channel remains shut down.

A “mega whale” deposited another 3,000 of $BTC into Binance again within two hours. Since July, the cumulative amount already dumped in totals $850 million. F&G jumped to 72, into the greed zone.

The dollar hasn’t tightened, money is building up, and activity is happening on-chain—yet that old pipeline for the channel is still clogged.
