I feel like the hardest position in the crypto space right now is the Binance Alpha listing team.
This guy—Bull Lai—has an abstract IP with extremely high, nationwide buzz and phenomenon-level attention. For the last Alpha, and even later for listings of contracts or spot, there was absolutely no problem.
But because Bull Lai’s IP is now tangled in all sorts of on-chain things—bull shit, the Bull Lai model, Bull Lai robots, and more.
All kinds of messy concepts that are only loosely related are being promoted and memed around by various P kids.
And the trading volume and hype are still not low. So the people on the listing team have no choice but to be forced to research these bull-shit coins, yet they also can’t really get them listed on Alpha.
In the end, there’s also a boss who doesn’t quite seem to know what they’re doing.
They’re being viciously criticized nonstop, yet they can only dare to placate people. They get yelled at from both ends.
