$BTC trades above 75,403—can it hold? My take: it won’t be able to hold in the short term. Pushing it up isn’t because new money arrived—it’s short sellers admitting defeat. In the last 24 hours, +8.66%, yet the number of contract positions is actually -0.50%, and the funding rate is only 0.0051%. Leverage hasn’t been piled on. After shorts close out this round, there won’t be the next batch of fuel. There’s also still overhead selling pressure from trapped longs; in the past ~200 days, 42 days closed above 75,000. RSI on the 4h is 94.3. The counter-evidence is that the large players’ positioning ratio rose from 1.526 to 1.767. Still, I’m watching for a pullback rather than a breakdown.
