Dear Binance Community,

Binance is pleased to announce the launch of Binance Agent OS, a developer platform built as part of Binance Intelligence. The platform connects compatible AI applications and agents with supported Binance capabilities through permissions controlled by users.

Binance Agent OS brings together Binance APIs, the Binance Wallet Agentic Hub, Binance x402, the Binance Skill Hub, and supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP) into a more coherent ecosystem for developers, users, and the entire industry. This launch formalizes Binance’s commitment to building infrastructure for agent-based crypto experiences and provides a foundation to expand agent skills, wallet capabilities, and developer tools over time.

Key features and advantages:

Binance Agent OS is designed to reduce fragmentation in agent-based crypto integrations. Instead of stitching together individual connections, developers can access a governed platform with a discoverable set of capabilities:

  • Binance APIs: Programmatic access to supported Binance trading, market, wallet, and on-chain features.

  • Binance Wallet Agentic Hub: Wallet capabilities designed for agent-controlled interactions, depending on user permissions.

  • Binance x402: Core components for payments and clearing, designed to support agent-controlled payment flows.

  • Binance Skill Hub: A place for developers to discover and use modular capabilities across market data, wallets, trading, and on-chain activities.

  • MCP Server, based on Model Context Protocol: A standardized connection layer for compatible AI applications to discover and use supported Binance tools, reducing the need for custom integrations.

MCP is a new capability introduced as part of this launch, but it is not the entirety of Binance Agent OS. Agent OS is the broader platform and toolkit; MCP is a connection layer that helps compatible agents easily discover and use the toolkit.

Why Agent OS, why now:

The next phase of the internet will be shaped by agents that can do more than generate content. They will search, coordinate, trade, and take action—for users and for each other.

Binance has released agent-based capabilities across many different products and repositories. Binance Agent OS brings that work together into a more coherent ecosystem and provides developers with a toolkit to build supported crypto experiences powered by agents.

For developers, MCP can reduce custom integration work and provide a standardized way to connect to supported Binance capabilities. For users, MCP can help deliver a more seamless agent experience by enabling compatible agents to discover and use crypto capabilities with permissions controlled by users.

Introducing Binance MCP Server:

As part of the launch of Binance Agent OS, Binance also introduces Binance MCP Server.

MCP is an open standard that helps standardize how AI applications connect to external tools. Binance MCP Server provides compatible AI applications a standardized way to connect to supported Binance tools and liquidity without requiring users to manage API keys on the local device.

MCP endpoint: https://agent.binance.com/mcp/agentic

After connecting and depending on user authorization, account eligibility conditions, and regional availability, users can grant scopes to the agent to:

  • Read market data: Access tickers, order books, candlesticks, and funding rates without needing authentication.

  • Check balances: View balances, positions, and invoices for your Agentic sub-account, along with an option to view your main account in read-only mode.

  • Transaction: Access to Spot, Margin, Convert, USDⓈ-M Futures, and COIN-M Futures functions is supported depending on the scope granted and the products your account is allowed to use.

  • Transfer: Transfer funds between wallets in your Agentic sub-account, e.g., from Spot to USDⓈ-M.

Note:

  • The Binance MCP Server does not provide withdrawal scope, and the agent is not authorized to withdraw to external addresses through this integration.

  • Access permissions must be authorized through a dedicated Agentic sub-account that is separated from your main account.

  • For supported order placement and transfer actions, users should carefully review the action details before confirming submission.

List of compatible AI agents: Claude Code, Claude, Codex, ChatGPT, VS Code.

How to get started:

Step 1: Connect an AI agent via MCP: Add the MCP endpoint https://agent.binance.com/mcp/agentic to any compatible AI agent supported by Binance MCP.

Step 2: Open and fund an Agentic sub-account: Go to Profile > Dashboard > Sub-account > Asset Management > Transfer.

Note: The agent cannot transfer funds from your main account to your Agentic sub-account. Only deposit funds into the Agentic sub-account with the assets you are willing to provide for the authorized agent activity.
