After connecting the API, it’s not hard for an AI Agent to look up market data—the hard part is how far you dare to let it go. The Agent Skills guide updated by the official academy in August has already put spot trading accounts and order-placing capabilities on the table.

My bottom line is very conservative: first run on Testnet; when using the mainnet, you must also restrict IP addresses, disable withdrawal permissions, and give it only a small sub-account. If it’s missing even one item, it’s not worth risking real money to try and fail.

The disagreement isn’t about whether “AI is smart,” but about who takes responsibility for mistakes. Will you allow only read-only access, or allow placing orders? Name an audit condition that would make you willing to loosen permissions.
