#termmax @TermMax
TermMax is like bringing a bank time deposit and a promissory note onto the blockchain. Before you borrow, you lock in the term and the interest rate—borrow 1530 USDC and you can reliably repay 1600 at maturity. The spread between them is what gets deployed and essentially fixed, so you don’t have to worry about the APY going haywire in the middle of the night. It breaks every debt into three parts: FT is the discounted IOU bought by the lender, redeemed for face value at maturity; XT is the interest that accumulates over the remaining time—getting closer to maturity makes it drop toward zero; and GT is the borrower’s collateralized NFT vault position. Placing orders works like Uniswap V3’s limit-order matching, and idle funds can be sent to Morpho to earn floating interest too—built specifically to treat DeFi interest-rate “heart disease.”
