According to Wallstreetcn, the White House said U.S. President Donald Trump signed a memorandum proposing that by 2030, U.S. space launch ranges and related facilities should be capable of supporting more than 1,000 launch and reentry missions a year. The memorandum said the United States will expand and improve space launch and reentry infrastructure, open federal launch sites to commercial users, encourage commercial investment, public-private partnerships and joint infrastructure development, and speed up facility permitting and environmental reviews. NASA was also asked to develop a commercial lunar logistics architecture, explore commercial robotic Mars landings, and study architectures for commercial crewed round trips to Mars.
