I keep coming back to one simple question with Dusk: can financial assets really be put onchain without forcing every transaction into public view?

That is where the project becomes interesting to me. Dusk is trying to build a layer-1 around regulated financial applications, where privacy and compliance are not treated as opposites. Its Confidential Security Contract model is designed to let assets and smart contracts operate with sensitive information protected, while still allowing the rules required by regulated markets to exist.

I think that balance is the real idea behind Dusk. Privacy alone is not enough for institutions, and regulation alone can make public blockchains uncomfortable. The harder question is whether both can actually work together at scale.

I see a thoughtful design, but also a difficult challenge: real adoption will depend on whether Dusk can make privacy practical without making compliance or usability too complicated.
