#termmax @TermMax TMX is coming—first I want to figure out one thing

Since joining TermMax, as the TMX TGE gets closer, I’ve actually been thinking more about:

After TMX enters TermMax, what role is it supposed to play?

I didn’t start by looking at the price. Instead, I re-read the whitepaper and the latest TGE information released by the team.

One thing TermMax makes me particularly curious about is that it doesn’t build products around a token first. Rather, it first sets up a product system with a fixed interest rate and fixed term, and only now is it entering the token phase.

So how exactly will TMX fit into this system that’s already up and running?

Keep reading: TMX isn’t just a credential for claiming rewards. The design around governance, staking, and protocol participation is also giving this token a more specific place. In addition, the participation history accumulated earlier through XP, AP, and MP will connect with TMX after the TGE.

This makes me feel that researching TMX shouldn’t be only about “how much it will distribute.” It should be about whether there is truly a real connection between:

TMX and TermMax’s product, participants, and protocol operations.

If it’s only meant to complete a one-time allocation, then it solves the issue of “rewarding past participation.”

If it can also allow holders to continue participating in the protocol, then it solves the issue of “how to keep participants in this system.”

So today, I’m not going to make a judgment about TMX’s price, and I’m not in a hurry to reach conclusions.

I only want to keep researching this question:

Is TMX merely a return for past participation in TermMax, or is it a part of future participation in TermMax?
