#dusk $DUSK @Dusk
I just came across the Dusk project and it really has substance. To be honest, I’ve seen plenty of RWA projects being hyped in the market—at the end of the day, it’s usually just taking a picture of assets, putting them on-chain, and then calling it a day. But this time, Dusk partnering with the Dutch-licensed exchange NPEX—I think they’ve actually hit the core.
In the past, when we talked about moving things on-chain, we always thought it was simply turning equity into tokens and that would be done. But what Dusk is doing is different—issuance, approval, trading, settlement, and public data: they put the entire pipeline onto the chain for you. A €300 million real-world asset pool from a physical small company isn’t a fantasy, isn’t a mirror—it’s tangible, real inventory you can actually touch.
What’s most satisfying is that it fixes an old problem. With earlier STOs, once they were done, the assets basically just sat there—if they could even trade once every six months, that would be considered pretty good. With Dusk’s setup, once the assets are on-chain, they can be bought and sold anytime, money settles instantly, and liquidity is basically maxed out. And rules like who can buy and how identity is verified are all handled by code, cutting out that middleman layer and peeling off the “rent” they take.
But I’m also a bit worried: Europe is so tightly regulated, and NPEX is licensed—so the cost of staying compliant can’t be low. Would those small companies really be willing to pay for this? After all, the old ways are slow and clunky, but they save money.
My take is this: the value of tokenization isn’t just the token’s “skin.” It’s moving the entire life cycle of the asset—from birth to death—onto the chain, so money can start flowing again. Dusk’s move goes much deeper than I expected.
Let’s discuss—what kind are you bullish on?👇
