$TRUMP$BTC Trump asked the U.S. Congress to take the next step and move forward with the CLARITY Act, a proposal that seeks to define clearer rules for the cryptocurrency market.

During a meeting at the White House with business leaders such as Coinbase, Gemini, Ripple, and Chainlink Labs, the president said that a “fair” version of this law would help keep the United States competitive in financial innovation against other countries.

The CLARITY Act has not been approved yet. Its goal is to establish which regulator oversees each part of the crypto market and to provide more certainty to companies, investors, and developers. The bill has already progressed in the House of Representatives, but it remains stalled in the Senate as issues such as stablecoin rewards, tokenized stocks, and ethical rules are discussed.

For the market, the key point is regulatory clarity: if a consistent framework is achieved, it could reduce some of the legal uncertainty that has limited crypto companies in the United States. However, the final outcome will depend on the text the Senate agrees on, so there are still no guarantees about its concrete effects on Bitcoin, Ethereum, or the rest of the industry.
