The more I think about Dusk Network, the more I realize that privacy is only one side of the conversation.
I want my financial activity to stay private when it doesn’t need to be exposed. That part feels pretty straightforward to me. Not every transaction should mean putting every detail of my financial life on display.
But at the same time, I don’t want privacy to become an excuse for a lack of accountability.
If something goes wrong, I want to understand what happened. I want to know why it happened, who was responsible, and whether there’s any way to fix things.
That’s where it gets interesting for me. The real challenge isn’t just building private financial infrastructure. It’s finding a balance where people can keep sensitive information protected, but where there’s still enough transparency to trust the system when things go wrong.
And honestly, I think that balance between privacy and accountability could end up being one of the biggest tests for blockchain-based finance.
