[Micron Launches Micron Research Laboratory; to Invest $10 Billion Over the Next Decade] Micron Technology announced the establishment of the Micron Research Laboratory, planning to invest $10 billion over the next ten years. The center will bring together customers, academia, government, and the broader semiconductor ecosystem to explore breakthrough results beyond current technology roadmaps, building on Micron’s technology and manufacturing leadership. Key research areas include critical memory technologies, advanced memory and computing architectures, packaging, and future semiconductor manufacturing. As the first research center of its kind in the United States dedicated to memory research, the Micron Research Laboratory will be anchored by the Boise flagship campus, supporting advanced research across cross-critical technology domains. The investment plan will also fund extensive university collaborations, global satellite laboratories, and deep ecosystem partnerships, building an interconnected research network focused on next-generation technologies for the AI era.

Over the past 40 years, it has never "turned hawkish in the second half of an election year"—is this time "different" for the Fed?The latest Federal Reserve meeting minutes from July suggest a hawkish tilt that shows more than just three members favoring rate hikes. The bond market turmoil has also prompted speculation about "passive rate hikes"—will the Federal Reserve break a 40-year historical pattern in the second half of an election year and turn hawkish against the trend? Current market pricing indicates that the probability the Federal Reserve will raise rates by 25 basis points before the October 2026 FOMC meeting is about 55%, reflecting concerns about stubbornly high inflation and the market’s worries—after the July policy meeting—about the Fed’s credibility in fighting inflation. However, according to Nomura’s latest research report, recent inflation data has clearly cooled off. In June, the core PCE month-on-month increase was only 0.132%, and the July CPI and PPI data also point to another relatively moderate reading. Objectively, this gives the Federal Reserve "room to wait." Nomura maintains its baseline forecast that the Fed will keep rates on hold.

【Anthropic is expected to match or exceed SpaceX’s IPO record】 Previously, reports said that Anthropic’s preliminary revenue in the second quarter exceeded $11.5 billion, while it was only $787 million in the same period of 2025. By the end of July, the company’s annualized revenue run rate had reached $65 billion. According to people familiar with the matter, the AI company Anthropic expects its IPO size to match or exceed the record set by SpaceX. As the AI company accelerates its preparations for going public, a mega-IPO is being lined up. The people familiar with the matter said that Anthropic is conducting related calculations and preparing to file for a potentially large IPO as early as later this month. They added that a recent investor communications meeting chaired by Chief Financial Officer Klao avoided discussing valuation. Data shows that at the time of its IPO, SpaceX—an aerospace company for rockets and satellites—raised $75 billion, becoming the largest initial public offering in history. Because it exercised so-called over-allotment options, the figure ultimately rose to $86.2 billion. This mechanism is typically triggered in the early period after the stock begins trading. Anthropic’s target reflects how leading companies in the AI industry are reshaping the tech investment landscape in an extremely short time. SpaceX has an AI advantage that OpenAI and Anthropic cannot replicateSince 2002, every rocket test and engineering project completed by aerospace giant SpaceX (SPCX) could now be used as training material for artificial intelligence (AI). This makes it far more appealing than simply merging with xAI, which is much more than just a merger between two companies owned by Musk. In fact, according to Musk, Grok 4.7 is currently undergoing additional training using a large amount of SpaceX data, and Grok 5 is expected to use the company’s complete historical dataset. If everything goes according to plan, SpaceX could provide Grok with engineering training that competitors such as OpenAI and Anthropic cannot replicate on their own.

Rumors in the streets stir: the bull goes mad 🔥,
In one night, talk spreads a hundredfold.

Long in the bear’s road, when the bull arrives at last,
Just one glance stirs a rush to act.

I regret I missed the chance to ride this wave,
Only cherish envy as I gaze at the brilliant glow 😂.

May what you hold all rise to great success,
Drunk lies wake—wealth and honor are shown.

Don’t chase impulsiveness and rush into the market,
Be cautious to keep your principal—don’t be reckless.

Wishing you year after year more earnings and gain,
May your journey go smoothly and luck follow your path

Yesterday I finally ate 333 points at 17%.
The first time I ate that much in one go.
I originally thought that the program I worked so hard to write—was it really useless?
After a small loss for four months, I stopped the bleeding and kept losing until I started to doubt life itself. But today, I finally ate it—333 points.
Back then when I wrote the program, I was backtesting a whole year of performance. But that whole year was a bear market period after a high—declining and moving sideways. I don’t know whether the program would work in the late stage of a bear market when there’s no interest and the market is range-bound with low volume. I also can’t guarantee that I’ll always be in the market for every big wave.
A few months ago, when it plunged from 2000 to 1503, I was shorting, and I stopped out quickly. Even if I had to endure losing 10-plus points, I still caught the big swing.
But that’s just how it is—programs are static, and the market is alive.
I can’t adjust parameters because of one failure—that would affect every future win and loss.
So all I can do is wait in the market for my opportunity.
I’m still firmly going for compounding at 2.5x.
Preserve the principal first—then you’ll have the right to speak in the crypto world.
