Recently, ICON is really having a rough time. Binance has tagged it with a “monitoring tag,” and the delisting risk alert is sounding loud and clear.

Let’s quickly sort out a few key issues:

Liquidity continues to shrink. On-chain activity is visibly declining—order books are getting thinner, and when the price gets hit, it’s easier for it to flash-crash.

Market confidence has been dealt a blow. The monitoring tag itself is a negative signal, weakening both retail traders’ and market makers’ expectations.

Ecosystem projects are moving out. Applications that used to rely on ICON (such as Balanced) have started migrating to other public chains, effectively pulling away the long-term value support.

From on-chain data, the circulating supply of $ICX is already not small. Once demand can’t keep up, valuation pressure will become very obvious.

In the short term, unless there’s a major positive catalyst or an ecosystem rebound, the price is likely to keep trading sideways but leaning weak. Be cautious when trying to catch the bottom.
