The most important signal this afternoon isn’t that BTC has touched $70,000, but that both capital and leverage are returning at the same time. CoinDesk reports that on August 19, spot BTC ETF recorded net inflows of $517 million, while ETH funds saw inflows of $189 million; meanwhile, short sellers were liquidated in a single day of about $2.7 billion. Binance’s 24-hour data shows BTC is up about 8.6% and ETH is up about 18%. This rally is supported by spot inflows, but in the short term it’s also amplified by squeezed shorts. Before chasing the price, first check whether $70,000 can hold, and whether there is still sustained buying after the liquidations cool down. #BTC #ETH
