I checked the official Chainlink Ecosystem tracker and the partnership page for @Dusk —over more than five years, there are only two entries.
The first is April 26, 2021: an integration of Data Feeds and VRF for privacy in DeFi. The second is November 13, 2025: a new agreement on CCIP, DataLink, and Data Streams—this time together with NPEX—for tokenized assets and cross-chain settlement calculations. Between them—four and a half years with no new entry on the same tracker, which for other projects shows consistent updates one after another.
This doesn’t necessarily mean the first integration failed. The product sets from 2021 and 2025 overlap very little; the Web3 industry has moved forward, and the Dusk mainnet itself launched only in 2025, later than the first Chainlink agreement. A new agreement with more up-to-date tools is a logical step, not necessarily an admission that the earlier attempt didn’t work.
$DUSK remains a token for which the new agreement enables cross-chain transfers between Ethereum and Solana via the Cross-Chain Token standard.
That same tracker currently marks Dusk’s status as INTENT, not LIVE. The silence for four and a half years is a fact, not my own interpretation. Did the first integration quietly work all this time, or is the new launch still only an intent rather than an action? #dusk
