$BIO Today’s move, I’m seeing is that DeSci narrative has been picked up again by capital—not just a pull alongside the broader market.
BIO was up about 16% over 24 hours; the price moved from around 0.025 to 0.029. In the latest monthly report for the project, PeptAI’s four candidate peptides are already set to enter real-lab testing. The White House’s Open Science reports have also added a more grounded narrative for DeSci.
The order book looks healthier than many smaller coins. Contract open interest has increased by only about 2% over the past 6 hours, and the funding rate is around 0.005%, suggesting that when the price is pushed up, there hasn’t been a big wave of leveraged chasing yet. But contract volume is still about 4.7x spot, so the speed of any retracement can’t be ignored.
Current circulating supply is about 2.28 billion tokens, already nearing 70% of the initial 3.32 billion. This isn’t being driven by artificially tight low float. There’s already been pressure tested around 0.0296, so I won’t chase here. I’ll look for continuation only if it can increase volume and hold above 0.0297. On a pullback, holding 0.0280—0.0283 feels more comfortable. If it breaks below 0.0272, I’ll step aside and observe first.
