#dusk $DUSK @Dusk I thought putting financial assets onchain was mainly a matter of having the right infrastructure.

But after looking closer at @dusk, I think the harder part is probably what happens around the transaction itself.

With DuskEVM, developers get a familiar EVM environment, but the interesting part for me is Hedger. It brings privacy into the workflow without completely removing the ability for authorized parties to review what is happening.

That seems like a more practical approach for regulated markets.

I also noticed the focus isn’t only on the technology. NPEX plans to bring more than €300M in assets onchain through Dusk, alongside other infrastructure and institutional partnerships.

Still, I’m not ready to assume that better technology automatically means faster adoption.

Financial institutions have their own processes, compliance requirements and reasons for moving slowly. So the real question for me is whether Dusk can actually make those processes easier rather than just making them possible onchain.

That’s the part I’ll be watching as DuskEVM moves toward real-world use.
