Just watched the chart, and $DOGE is once again the best-looking one in the whole market. According to Binance’s real-time data, over the past 24 hours trading volume has hit 900 million USD—stronger than the total market caps of many sh—uh, most altcoins. I caught a small position this morning and made 3% before running. Now it’s pulling back, and I’m a bit itchy to chase again, but if I go in at this spot, it’s basically gambling with my life. Forget it.
Speaking of position sizing, I’ve taken too many losses. In the past, I always wanted to go all-in—then I got blown up in a needle-spike行情 like $WIF , leaving me with nothing but my underwear. Now I only trust three iron rules:
Use the Kelly formula to estimate the win rate. If the win rate is below 60%, cap the position at within 20%;
Fixed fraction: for any single trade, loss must never exceed 2% of total capital. If it’s hit, you stop—no hesitation;
Pyramiding/add-on buys: only add when you’re in profit. Add more as it rises, but halve the amount added each time. If you’re wrong, absolutely don’t try to make up the losses.
Today $PEPE is moving too, but the volatility is so crazy. I bought one lot like buying a lottery ticket—if it loses, I won’t even feel bad. If this move by $DOGE breaks the previous high on increased volume, I’ll use 20% of my position to test it. If it breaks out, I’ll act; if it loses the level, I’ll admit I’m wrong. At most, I’ll lose only the stop-loss money again. Remember: staying alive is more important than anything. The market opens every day—this isn’t the only chance.
The above is only my personal opinion and does not constitute investment advice
