Hudson River Trading's second-quarter trading revenue reached a record $11.4 billion, and the firm was profitable in July despite the selloff in AI stocks. According to Sina Finance, people familiar with the matter said HRT's quarterly trading revenue was more than three times higher than a year earlier, and quarterly net profit was $7.4 billion.
According to Sina Finance, adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization for the second quarter were about $8 billion, up more than 350% from $1.75 billion a year earlier. People familiar with the matter added that HRT executives told bondholders on a conference call that, although July markets were affected by issues related to Situational Awareness, HRT did not invest directly in that fund and still posted a profit for the month.
