1000PEPE is currently around 0.00271. This rebound looks pretty strong, but I won’t chase it here—I’ll observe for now.

The price action has indeed turned stronger. It’s up nearly 4% in the past 24 hours, and over the last 4-hour period it’s four bullish candles and two bearish ones. The most recent 4-hour candle was pulled up hard, and it’s now trading right near the 1-day high at 0.0027613. Above that is the 7-day high at 0.0028641, where there’s overhead resistance. However, overall this week is still down more than 4%. The market looks more like a bounce after falling rather than a trend reversal.

The main issue is liquidity/flows. Spot large orders still have net inflow of zero. As the price climbs, real money has not actually come in—this is the old problem again: the rally is driven by futures/derivatives sentiment rather than spot buyers accumulating. On the futures side, the share of主动 buy orders is less than 45%, and during the push upward there’s still sell pressure from passive orders.

But it’s not entirely bearish. Whale positions have increased: the long position ratio is up to 67%, and they’re still adding over these past few hours. On the order book, the bid side is about 20% thicker than the ask side, and the spread is also tighter. Big players are testing/absorbing, which suggests there are people willing to defend and hold support below.

So it’s a tug-of-war right now: there’s resistance overhead, whale support below, and the spot market hasn’t truly joined in. Chasing longs risks a spike-and-reversal. Shorting is risky too because you might get pushed up. Both sides feel uncomfortable.

I choose to wait. Either we pull back toward the 0.00256 area to see if there’s buying support, or it holds and breaks above 0.00276 before considering an entry. The current entry offers mediocre value.
