I waited longer, but my Dusk withdrawal still wasn’t ready.

That’s when I realized I was using the wrong signal.

When withdrawing DUSK from DuskEVM back to Dusk L1, readiness isn’t determined simply by how much time has passed.

The process depends on things like published network state, proof maturity and dispute-game checks. The Web Wallet status is the authoritative signal.

So:

“I’ve waited long enough” ≠ “my withdrawal is ready.”

That sounds like a small distinction, but it changes how I would monitor a bridge withdrawal.

Instead of guessing from the clock, I’d check the actual withdrawal status.

For me, that’s the interesting part.

When a blockchain workflow depends on several state conditions, elapsed time alone doesn’t tell you whether the action is actually ready.
