Gold 4442 hits a new high, and Tesla is still up 1.8%. Meta is down 2.9% in a day, and the Nasdaq-100 closed at +0.05%. The indices are acting like nothing’s wrong, but individual stocks are already cutting each other.

The money isn’t leaving—it’s just rotating. From Meta, which is burning cash with no clear bottom in sight, people are running toward assets that can be priced immediately, like gold and Nvidia. MicroStrategy is down 1.2% as well; the miners are even less interesting. As for crypto-related US stocks, today there’s simply no one paying attention.

Don’t be fooled by that 0.05% on the QQQ. The breakdown below is actually wide open—when the index stays flat, it’s easier for people to fall into a false sense of safety. If you had to pick a direction, I’d guess they’ll first shake out the late buyers who chased the highs.

In this kind of market, US-stock tokens aren’t necessarily unplayable, but you need to be clear about what you’re holding. Meta’s token is already near the bottom of its 24-hour range—if tomorrow’s US market keeps dumping, this kind of thin liquidity pool will probably break first.
