The stablecoin yield track has gained a new player.
Osero, incubated by Stablewatch, has officially launched its app and is now open to all users. The website shows a current APY of 3.52%, supporting more than ten stablecoins including USDC.e, USDe, AUSD, GHO, PYUSD, RLUSD, USDD, USDG, USDtb, and frxUSD.
The yield sources primarily highlight the sUSDS and Sky Ecosystem savings interest rate mechanism, and the backing is also clearly explained. Previously, Osero completed a $13.5 million funding round led by Sky Ecosystem and Plasma, with a strong institutional lineup.
A 3.52% annualized return isn’t particularly eye-catching in today’s market, but the highlight is that it supports a wide range of stablecoin types and is anchored in the underlying Sky ecosystem. In theory, its risk-resilience may be more stable than yield products that rely on a single source. For allocation-focused players, it adds another tool for diversifying stablecoin yields.
Of course, as with any newly launched project, there are still uncertainties in the early stage. Key aspects such as TVL depth, the stability of the yield rate, and the efficiency of how Sky’s interest rate mechanism is transmitted all need to be monitored over time.
