The Ceiling That Keeps Growing

@Dusk i’ve been circling Dusk’s Phoenix note tree and depth-thirty-four is what won’t leave me alone. seventeen billion one hundred seventy-nine million leaves sounds absurd until you see the scaling. capacity explodes while proof cost only climbs in a straight line. depth thirty-two is about four billion three hundred million. thirty-four gets you to seventeen billion. thirty-six pushes past sixty-eight billion. two levels and you’ve got four times the room. bump it once to thirty-five and you double again, with maybe three percent more proof work. but notes never leave. the tree only grows. that’s where the story shifts. the real pressure isn’t the ceiling, it’s what happens when note creation gets real. witness size, proving time, storage, state access. privacy needs that structure and structure always costs. depth thirty-four gives Dusk massive headroom, but i keep asking if it still feels comfortable when usage is live and history is heavy.
