Samsung Electronics said it will invest about 240 billion won to build a FläktGroup HVAC production line at its Gwangju plant in South Korea. According to Sina Finance, the new line is scheduled to be completed and begin production in 2028.
The plant will produce FläktGroup HVAC systems, including high-end cooling solutions for artificial intelligence data centers. Samsung said it plans to use the facility to expand its domestic HVAC business and target growth demand from AI data centers. The company aims to turn HVAC into a new growth engine and rank among the industry's global top tier by 2030.
