MSTR is now around 92.8u. In the past 24 hours, it has printed more than five hours, and it’s still crawling under the moving averages. First, the conclusion—at this level, I won’t chase a short, and I won’t rush to enter. I’m just waiting for stabilization.
What stands out most is the contract positioning. In a single day it surged up by 17% straight away, and in the next seven hours it added another more than 10%. The price is falling while open interest is rising, which shows that real money is coming in below to trade hands. This is completely different from the previous order book where positions kept shrinking all the way.
Next, look at the big accounts. Long vs short is 2.8 to 1, and in the last seven hours it’s still adding nearly another 10%. On the position side it’s even more aggressive: long vs short is up to 2.9, and global accounts are also偏多—this isn’t just retail talk; it’s cash and metal people are crouching in the market for.
Of course, don’t get carried away. The price is still sitting below the 20 and 50 lines. On the 4-hour chart, the last six candles have four bearish ones. The proactive sell orders are still pressing and the buy orders are only slightly there; the downside momentum hasn’t fully been flushed out. So you can say someone is catching, but they haven’t yet received price confirmation.
That’s why I’m more inclined to treat this area as bottom repositioning and handover. Whether the prior low holds is the key. If it holds, and then releases volume, that’s when a rebound is worth discussing; if it doesn’t hold, then all the bids that came in at the bottom are just catching the knife. Waiting for a confirmation of stabilization and then acting will be much more comfortable than rushing in now.
