$XAU Bank of America: Investors are turning away from pessimism and increasing their bets on stocks
A Bank of America survey for August showed a clear shift toward optimism among fund managers, with higher allocations to stocks and a decline in cash holdings to historically low levels—indicating that investors are becoming less willing to wait for a market correction.
According to the survey, net allocations by investors to U.S. equities rose to 27%, from 24% in July, the highest level since December 2024. The average cash holdings also fell to around 3.5%, nearing the lowest levels recorded since 2000, while allocations to global equities reached their highest level since November 2021.
