$DUSK @Dusk #dusk
I keep thinking about the question: $DUSK what role is it really playing in the entire Dusk infrastructure? And the deeper I look, the more the answer seems far more interesting than the familiar privacy narrative.

This isn’t about proving that the bigger the staking, the more important the token is. This is an opportunity to verify whether staking and @Dusk truly become a core part of the network infrastructure.

What I can truly verify is that more than 210M DUSK is being staked, how the stake is allocated, and the level of validator activity. I can also consider Hyperstaking, because it’s really a test of whether staking can be deeply integrated into smart contracts and applications on the network—not just a mechanism for node operators.

What I don’t know is how DUSK will behave as DuskDS, DuskEVM, and DuskVM expand together, rather than only looking at the current staking figures. The question is whether #dusk will truly become a shared infrastructure asset for the whole network.

I’m tracking whether real usage, the stake allocation, and user/validator behavior are strong enough to confirm this thesis.
