Both sound appealing, but once implemented at the application layer, factors such as proof generation speed, transaction fees, key management, and exception recovery will all affect user experience. Dusk’s native environment and components like Hedger provide the foundation for privacy-oriented finance, but ecosystem projects still need to package these capabilities into clear product interfaces. Asset issuers shouldn’t have to understand every detail of the underlying proof system just to complete a single compliant transfer. Wallets, exchanges, and auditing tools also need to know which information can be public, which information can only be authorized to view, and how to leave behind verifiable records after permissions are revoked.$SPCXB
I’m particularly interested in whether Dusk can make privacy into a configurable financial infrastructure, rather than a single hidden feature. If users can set different disclosure rules based on asset types, institutions can complete audits while conducting confidential transactions, and developers can integrate with relatively simple methods, then Dusk’s differentiation will truly stand out.
