Bitcoin has almost no trading volume anymore—what can we do about this? In the past, Bitcoin would suck liquidity from copycat coins; now it’s the U.S. stock market that’s sucking liquidity from Bitcoin. That’s not a good sign. I’m not bearish on Bitcoin. It’s just that most retail investors in the U.S. stock market probably aren’t going to play crypto, but those crypto traders’ little pools of money have gone to play the U.S. stock market.
