Metaplanet plans to invest about $134.6 million to acquire roughly 95.7% of Nasdaq-listed Super League’s outstanding shares, including 2,100 bitcoin and $2.5 million in cash. According to Odaily, once the transaction closes, Super League will be renamed Superplanet and become Metaplanet’s U.S. bitcoin treasury platform. Metaplanet currently holds 43,000 bitcoin.
