A token can appear in your Spot Account and still have no Spot market.

That sounds contradictory, but it is the most useful detail in Binance’s new route for third-party tokenized securities.

Imagine that an eligible user deposits CRCLon through Ethereum or BNB Smart Chain.

The CRCLon balance arrives in the Binance Spot Account, but it is not available for Spot trading. Binance says the deposited token can only be held or converted.

There is no step where CRCLon automatically becomes a tradable Binance bStock.

To reach the bStock market, the user selects Convert Now:

CRCLon$CRCLB

During the current promotional period, the conversion uses a fixed 1:1 rate with zero conversion fees until 26 August at 23:59 UTC. Per-user daily limits still apply.

After conversion, $CRCLB is the asset that can be traded 24/7, withdrawn or redeemed for the underlying stock, subject to eligibility and the applicable product rules.

So three facts must be kept separate:

Where the balance is stored: Spot Account

What can currently be done with it: hold or convert

What becomes available after conversion: bStock trading, withdrawal and redemption

“Located in Spot” and “listed for Spot trading” are not the same thing.

Would you have expected a token inside the Spot Account to require another step before it could be traded?
