3 DO NOTS – 6 MUST-DOs: The “slow but steady” way to survive long in the crypto market
After some time of observing and trading, I realized: making money in crypto doesn’t necessarily require being super intelligent, but it definitely requires strict discipline.
I always remind myself of 3 DO NOTS:
❌ Don’t FOMO when the price has already surged hot.
❌ Don’t go All-in on a single coin, even if you trust it a lot.
❌ Don’t use all your capital for just one trade.
And 6 MUST-DOs:
1️⃣ Wait for the market to confirm the direction before putting money down.
2️⃣ Limit trading in noisy sideway ranges.
3️⃣ Prioritize buying when the market panics instead of chasing green candles.
4️⃣ When the price drops hard, only catch the bottom in portions — not with your entire account.
5️⃣ Split your capital into multiple parts; the more you’re wrong, the more money you still have to fix it.
6️⃣ When the scenario becomes invalid, exit the trade without hesitation.
The most important thing isn’t necessarily catching the exact bottom or selling the exact top.
👉 The goal is to stay in the game long enough so that the right trades can cover the wrong ones.
In crypto, the final winners usually aren’t the people who trade the most, but the ones who manage capital the best.
