Having been签到 for over a year, when we reached August 25th TMX TGE, I actually became afraid to guess the opening price.

The reason is simple: the prettier the numbers look, the greater the pressure after TGE.

TermMax’s total supply of 1 billion TMX has recently seen a clear rise in community buzz. TVL is already in the tens of millions of dollars range, and a large number of early users keep interacting. Even I’ve seen people in the community doing extensive address interactions just for the air drop.

But before August 25th, all these numbers were still just “expectations.”

What’s really interesting is what happens after the TGE:

Out of 1 billion TMX, how many will ultimately be able to turn into long-term value?

If the opening price spikes very high, but the user base, trading volume, and protocol revenue can’t keep up, then that’s just sentiment.

If the short-term price isn’t as exaggerated, but real usage continues to grow, that may actually be healthier.

I’ve stuck with TermMax for over a year. What I most want to see now is no longer whether “TMX can reach $1.”

I’d rather look at the data from the 30 days after the TGE:

① How many active users can remain?
② Can borrowing/trading volume keep growing?
③ Will TVL continue to rise, or will it drop quickly once the incentives end?

So what do you think TermMax will be like after August 25th—will it be which one?
No matter which outcome it is, I think it’s acceptable; after all, we’re learning through the process!
