Global markets opened a new session amid a mix of geopolitical pressures, inflation concerns, and rising bond yields, as U.S. stock index futures edged lower while uncertainty persisted around developments in the standoff between the United States and Iran. Dow Jones futures fell by about 73 points, while futures for the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 dropped by roughly 0.32% and 0.59%, respectively, after major indexes ended Monday’s session lower.

In Asia, market moves were mixed: South Korea’s Kospi index rose by about 1.9%, while Japan’s Nikkei 225 fell by 0.94%, and Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 climbed by about 0.19%.
