「Crypto | Bottom Watch | August 18」

It’s down 80% yet stays flat and unmoving—are we still in a shakeout, or heading to zero?

The Bottom Hunter leaderboard has been watching a few:
RECALL Current price 0.066, down 75%, ranging sideways for 70 days
TRUTH Current price 0.0168, down 81%, ranging sideways for 65 days
ALLO Current price 0.086, down 87%, ranging sideways for 70 days

I’ve gone over the structure too many times before—after a deep drop plus a long sideways period, it’s either building momentum or slowly bleeding out into zero. The difference is whether someone comes along to “ignite” it.

I won’t take action myself. I’m waiting for two signals: a daily-volume breakout above the top of the sideways range, or funding rates suddenly turning positive plus on-chain activity picking up. If either shows up, I’ll do a small position trial and error.

Bonus observation: SUI in this round is pretty interesting—both the Grayscale and Canary ETFs have launched, yet it’s down 6%. That’s good news turning into bad news (profits taking). But the combination of being low-priced plus “bad news already exhausted” often becomes a contrarian opportunity—add it to your watchlist.

Not a recommendation to buy—just sharing the structure.

Which of these bottom plays do you think is most likely to ignite? Let’s discuss in the comments.
