According to Yonhap, KG Mobility Corp. said it aims to sell 1,000 sport utility vehicles in Myanmar this year after launching its brand in the country. The South Korean carmaker said it will export the all-electric Torres EVX and Musso EV pickup as complete knockdown kits to the Southeast Asian market, where they will be assembled at the plant of local partner Super Seven Stars Group for domestic sale. KG Mobility said its exports rose 1.9% to 40,894 units in January through July from 40,115 units a year earlier. It also plans to expand its CKD business in Saudi Arabia and Vietnam to support exports.
