#dusk $ACE $BTW $DUSK @Dusk
i keep thinking if my Phoenix DUSK is already valid and ready to pay, then the XSC side should basically be done too. seller has the security, i have the shielded DUSK, both sides are there.
what else is supposed to stop it?
except apparently Phoenix being fine only answers the money side.
the Dusk XSC still has another condition sitting there with the receiving wallet. that wallet can be ready to receive the security and still not qualify as the next holder under the Confidential Security Contract.
and yeah thats where my brain keeps trying to merge two different checks into one.
valid Phoenix DUSK doesnt somehow prove valid XSC ownership.
the shielded payment can be perfectly fine, the Phoenix side can keep the DUSK movement private, and the security side can still be waiting on a zero-knowledge proof that the receiver actually fits the XSC holder rules.
so wait.
money ready. seller ready. receiver maybe not.
and until that receiving wallet satisfies the XSC holder condition, the ownership side still isnt ready to move with the Phoenix payment. which is probably the bit i kept skipping because i was treating DuskDS settlement like the place where both sides just arrive together.
except one side being valid doesnt drag the other side across with it.
the Dusk Phoenix payment can already be valid while the receiving wallet still fails the XSC holder condition.
so DuskDS doesnt get one finished trade just because the Phoenix side was ready first.
apparently valid money can still be sitting there waiting on a valid owner.
