$XRP Right now around 1.0015u, it’s still stuck at this $1 threshold.
Today’s sentiment is the strongest of the week. ETF institutional positioning, Ripple getting pulled into discussions around regulation, and on the XRPL side the RLUSD incentives and tokenization ecosystem have been constantly in the news—sentiment score has surged straight to Strong Positive, and whale accounts are also putting nearly 80% into longs. The upside is very dense—there’s nothing to be afraid of.
But the problem is right here: with so many positives, the price just won’t move. Over three days it’s still chopping around $1, and over seven days the net value is still negative. For the spot market, in these past three hours with 12 K-bars, there hasn’t been a single net inflow—net outflow is over 100 million. People shouting longs may have it in their mouths, but real money is still moving out.
On the derivatives side, though, some people are already trying to front-run. The aggressive buy orders jumped more than 150% over seven hours, and the funding rate is still hovering near zero—so neither longs nor shorts really gained an advantage. The issue is that this kind of rebound propped up by derivatives sentiment can’t really be confirmed unless the spot money comes back.
So I won’t chase longs at this level. $1 is the watershed: if it holds, wait for a pullback and reassess; if it can’t hold, then that small amount of derivative-buying pressure won’t last long. Sentiment and capital are currently in a tug-of-war—wait for the money to make its position clear first.
