When will market trust be repaired?

Maybe we have to wait for Americans to repair it.

Once financial trust is lost, it cannot be restored by a few KOLs shouting slogans, nor by retail investors rushing back in again.

Trust needs stronger capital, deeper liquidity, more mature regulation, and sufficiently credible financial infrastructure to rebuild.

Only when American institutions and exchanges truly become the largest liquidity pool in the crypto market, when the crypto market may usher in a real new cycle—and only then—might a “new golden generation” for crypto emerge.

In the past, the golden age was powered by exchanges, leverage, token issuance, and attention/traffic.

The next golden age may belong to those who genuinely connect crypto assets, USD stablecoins, DeFi, and traditional finance.

Once financial trust is lost, it takes stronger forces to fix it. I’d rather wait for that force to appear than keep consuming the last bit of trust in the market.

My assets and those of my friends around me are aligned with U.S.-based assets, and when looking globally, only the United States can accommodate the building of next-generation financial infrastructure.

At this point, some people might feel pessimistic, or think this is blind admiration of foreign things—but the rules of the world are that simple. There’s no big principle, no ideology.

Last year’s incident may become a turning point between eras; at most, within ten years, we’ll see the differences grow larger and larger.
