To bring real-world regulated assets (RWA) to blockchain, it’s not enough to tokenize them and use smart contracts on a decentralized infrastructure.⛓️
There are also other factors that must be considered, such as:
* Access controls and verification
* Privacy and protection of sensitive information
* Instant and irreversible transactions
* Regulatory compliance
* Auditing and reporting, among others.
And this is where a factor I consider decisive comes into play: Privacy + Compliance. 🔏
In my view, both are essential for institutional adoption of blockchain to move forward. Without them, it’s difficult for financial institutions that work with regulated assets to take advantage of blockchain’s benefits without compromising the confidentiality of information or their regulatory obligations.
And this is precisely one of the problems that @Dusk 🌒 is trying to solve.
In the next post, I’ll tell you what the value proposition of $DUSK is to address this problem. 📝
