SPCXB is again almost at $150. What is actually pushing SpaceX up?
SPCXB today added more than 5% and is trading again around $148.
What’s interesting is that the move is happening in parallel with SPCX itself: SpaceX shares today reached nearly $150, nearly returning to the level at which the company traded after its IPO.
And there are a few interesting things here.
First, over the weekend SpaceX carried out two successful Falcon 9 launches at once. For a company whose valuation is largely supported by Starlink and the rocket business, such news clearly does not hurt market sentiment.
SPCX has moved away from the August low of around $105 and has shown a strong rebound. Now $150 could become a serious test for buyers.
On August 20, the unlocking of SpaceX shares is expected—potentially an additional supply on the market.
The question isn’t only whether SPCX can move above $150, but also whether demand is strong enough to absorb the new supply after the unlock?
If so, today’s move could become the start of a more interesting continuation. If not, $150 may turn out to be the point for another pullback.
And SPCXB on Binance is especially interesting here—you can trade 24/7 without waiting for the opening of the US market.
Which scenario seems more likely to you: a break above $150+ or another pullback after the unlock?
