I had a loss of $200,000 in $LUNC in 2021-2022.
I can never forget that day when I opened the chart and the price was at $120 and my father gave me the initial $200k for trading at that time. I did research and it was in the top 10 coins and I invested in it in just one night. In the morning I saw it had come down to $80.
I thought maybe there was some sentiment and that’s why the market crashed but then it kept falling right in front of me and I watched with my own eyes as my $200k went to 0. And I couldn’t even close it and save whatever capital was left. But at that point the thought came that you should have patience in trading.
After taking the loss, I learned that you must have strong risk management. A trader is not the one who makes profit. A trader is the one who saves his capital. If you have capital, you can take the next trade, otherwise you can’t.
Stoploss is very important.
The stop limit is very important.
Staying active after taking a trade is very important.
Keeping an eye on technical analysis, fundamental analysis, and market sentiment is very important.
