Elon Musk coins on Binance: Should you buy?$SPCXB

Elon Musk is one of the most influential figures in the cryptocurrency industry. His tweets can crash or send the market soaring in just a few hours. But which coins are truly linked to him, and which are merely speculative noise? Let’s sort it out.

What Elon Musk actually holds

Contrary to popular belief, Musk’s personal portfolio is modest and transparent. Back in 2021, he publicly confirmed that he owns only three cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Dogecoin (DOGE). Since then, he has not announced buying other coins.

At the same time, its companies also play an important role:

· Tesla owns 11,509 BTC, bought for approximately $386 million, and accepts DOGE as payment for goods.

· SpaceX also holds bitcoins since 2021—estimated at about 19,000 BTC.

It’s important to understand: all other coins with “Musk” in the name (“ElonCoin,” “MuskToken,” “X Coin,” and hundreds of others) have nothing to do with him and were created by third parties.

Tokenized SpaceX shares (SPCX / SPCXB) — a Binance novelty

In June 2026, Binance announced the listing of a tokenized version of SpaceX stocks—SPCXB (later SPCX). This is a digital asset that tracks the price of SpaceX shares and is backed by real company shares in a 1:1 ratio.

The interest was enormous:

· Trading volume for the SPCX/USDT perpetual contract over the past 24 hours reached $3.385 billion, up by more than 800%, and became the third-largest on Binance, trailing only BTC and ETH.

· Binance controls more than 60% of the SpaceX futures contract market.

· On the day SpaceX shares were released, they rose by 19%, and the next day by almost another 20%.

However, there’s a catch. Binance Wallet’s initial IPO campaign for SPCXx was canceled “due to circumstances beyond our control.” Users had their blocked USDC returned, and as compensation they received SPCXB worth $1 million.

Tokenized securities do not provide real ownership rights to the stocks (dividends, voting, etc.) and are intended exclusively for speculative trading. The price of such tokens can significantly deviate from the actual stock value, especially during non-trading hours of the exchange.

Meme coins: MarsCoin, ASTEROID, Flōki, and others

A lot of meme coins keep popping up around Musk—ones that soar by thousands of percent and fall just as quickly:

· MarsCoin (MARSCOIN) is inspired by Musk’s 2021 joke about how “surely a MarsCoin will appear.” After being added to Binance Alpha, the token jumped by more than 50,000% in 48 hours. The creators promote it as “the first memecoin tied to tokenized SpaceX stocks.”

· ASTEROID—after Musk replied to a post about it, the coin’s market cap grew from just a few tens of thousands of dollars to nearly $200 million in a matter of hours. The growth was tens of thousands of percent.

· Flōki—after Musk joked that his dog holds the CEO position at X, the token price rose by more than 25%, and trading volume exceeded $500 million.

· DOGE remains the main favorite. Binance’s top traders hold 72.85% of long positions in DOGE and continue to build them up. Speculation about a connection to X Money also fuels interest.

So, in the end: should you buy?

Short answer: with caution and only after your own research.

As for DOGE:

· It’s the only meme coin that Musk has publicly supported and called “the people’s cryptocurrency.”

· It has real-world use—Tesla accepts DOGE as payment.

· But the price is currently around $0.08–0.09—far from historical highs. There is upside potential, but it depends on news and Musk’s sentiment.

As for SPCX / SPCXB:

· It’s a way to get exposure to SpaceX before the official IPO—one of the most anticipated companies of the decade.

· However, this is a tokenized derivative, not a real stock. You do not receive dividends or corporate rights.

· The campaign has already faced cancellations, which indicates high operational risks.

As for meme coins (MarsCoin, ASTEROID, etc.):

· This is pure speculation with an extremely high level of risk.

· They have no fundamental value; their price is held up exclusively by hype and FOMO.

· Musk has repeatedly warned that he has nothing to do with such projects.

Main rules:

1. Never invest more than you’re willing to lose.

2. Don’t believe “x-fold” promises— with meme coins, it’s almost always manipulation.

3. Study the project yourself—check the team, tokenomics, and real-world use cases.

4. Follow Binance’s official announcements—many “leaks” about listings turn out to be fake.
