I didn’t understand for a long time why bStocks puts so much emphasis on $5.
Well, $5 is $5. What’s the big deal?
Until I opened SNDK (SanDisk) and saw the price of an entire share. 😅
And then it finally clicked: it’s not really about being able to start with a small amount.
It’s about the fact that through SNDKB, I can get fractional exposure to SanDisk without having to pay for a whole share right away.
In other words, bStocks essentially change the question itself.
Before, I looked at SNDK and thought: “How much do I need to gather to buy one?”
Now the question is different: “How much do I want to allocate to this position right now?”
And to me, this is way more interesting than those $5 themselves.
Because the small minimum entry isn’t about buying everything indiscriminately. It’s about the ability not to stay on the sidelines just because a whole share is too expensive.
That’s where I understood why bStocks needs fractional ownership. 👀
Did you also initially underestimate these $5? 😅
