Maybe we’re misunderstanding the word “transparency.”
For some reason, logic is often stated like this: the more information is available to everyone, the better the blockchain.
But imagine a fund, a bank, or a large company carrying out a serious transaction. Do they really need their competitors to see all the details?
It seems to me the future will be about compromise:
data can be verified ✅
rules are followed ✅
but private information isn’t on display for the whole world ✅
That’s why the topic of Dusk interests me not as another crypto narrative, but as an attempt to answer a fairly fundamental question:
can a blockchain be both transparent for verification and private for the user?
Now that’s a technological question I genuinely enjoy watching unfold.
