9 years of experience in crypto, $SPCXB and compound interest: key insights from Vitaliy Filimonov’s bWeekly episode

Hello, Binance Square community!

Recently, I listened to a bWeekly episode featuring Vitaliy Filimonov. With the goal that all of you learn more about bStocks, I want to translate the key takeaways from this lecture into Kazakh and share them with you!

Vitaliy Filimonov noted that the words mentioned in the lecture are not just advice—they are the result of his 9 years of deep experience and his personal thoughts. He has been in crypto for 9 years, has actively done trading for 7 years, has gone through 3 market cycles, and has been lecturing and teaching trading for 9 years. The author is a graduate of the Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Russia and the founder of the First Baltic Trading Academy.

1. Why is personal finance management important?

Previously, most of us couldn’t explain to people that crypto is a real tool, and we would often argue. But the numbers speak for themselves:

In 2025, 1 million people became millionaires.

Worldwide, there are now about 60 million millionaires, and more than half of them built their capital through these very investments and innovations.

That’s why personal finance management is extremely important for every person.

Vitaliy really loves cryptocurrency and emphasizes this: you can start investing with just $5. The key is to accumulate real experience that will turn into money over time. The strategy is always more important than the amount!

2. Risks, returns, and fear of cryptocurrency

Why do people fear cryptocurrency? Because of anxiety caused by a lack of knowledge and experience.

High risk and high return: In crypto, we’re all used to big percentages. In his multi-year experience, Vitaliy personally saw Solana grow from 10 cents to $260, Bitcoin go from $720, and Ethereum (Ethereum) reach $9. But behind high returns there is always big risk.

Stocks are the ideal starting point for beginners: Stocks are low-return but low-risk assets. For those who get nervous in the market without knowing how it works, tokenized stocks are the best tool. Even if returns are small, there is a plus—and the process itself becomes an amazing journey.

3. What are bStocks (tokenized stocks)?

bStocks is tokenized stock with a 1-to-1 relationship to a real-world share. This is tokenization of existing business in the traditional financial world into stocks and tokens, and you can trade it freely.

The main advantages of bStocks:

No broker and no high limits: The author is against traditional brokers because the entry threshold is very high and there was a lot of bureaucracy—so ordinary people couldn’t trade.

Accessibility starting from $5: Previously, buying stocks required a large capital. Blockchain technology makes it possible to split both cryptocurrency and tokenized stocks into smaller parts. Now you can buy a small share of your favorite companies (for example, Netflix) on the spot market with USDT starting from just $5. This is very convenient for beginners.

Trading 24/7: For example, on August 11, 2026, the Nasdaq exchange closed at 16:00 New York time. Previously, when Nasdaq closed, trading would stop until morning. If the company reports at that time, a big gap (gap) appears in the price—and brokers profit from it. Now, after Nasdaq closes, bStocks will keep operating in a 24/7 mode!

Nasdaq’s dormant volatility: At bStocks, 58% of all trading happens exactly while the Nasdaq exchange is officially closed. It doesn’t matter to the trader where the price will go (up or down)—the trader makes profit through volatility. While Nasdaq is sleeping, bStocks creates volatility based on new news and reports. Strategies are changing, and we adapt to this ever-changing world.

Netflix example: In 2026, Netflix earned about $3 billion from advertising and doubled the figure. This became a new growth engine for the company outside its core business. The moment this news broke, volatility appeared, and bStocks traders could trade it in real time.

Personal storage (Cold / Non-custodial wallets): bStocks tokenized stocks are backed by real assets in the real world. If the BNB Chain network actively supports the assets, you can transfer these shares to your own personal non-custodial “cold” wallet (MetaMask or Trust Wallet) and store them there.

4. Dividends and Compound Interest (“The Eighth Wonder of the World”)

Vitaliy says that dividends have compound interest, and that this is the eighth wonder of the world!

How dividends are paid: Not all stocks pay dividends (read the company’s terms!). For those that do, the Multiplier technology works: no separate money is sent to you—your number of tokenized shares automatically increases. Everything is built into blockchain technology!

Examples of returns: Nokia ~3.4%, IBM ~2.2%, Goldman Sachs shows growth of ~2%.

Commissions and taxes: On the day dividends are paid, 30% is withheld automatically (this is the standard US tax). And the network commission for transferring tokens and shares is very low—about 3 cents.

5. Trends in bStocks: High Yield and Space

In bStocks, more than 25% of the global tokenized stocks market is available. Bright examples from the lecture:

Artificial Intelligence (Iris Energy / IREN): Previously, the company was involved in mining, then shifted to the AI industry by building giant data centers and raised $2.8 billion in investment. As a result, it showed 25% volatility in a single day!

Space technologies (AST SpaceMobile / $ASTCB): The company launches satellites into space with Falcon rockets (in partnership with SpaceX) to provide direct communication from space to smartphones. Recently, they launched 3 more new satellites, bringing the total number to 13. You can buy such space companies through bStocks!

6. We stand at the threshold of the world’s renewal

In any business, new ideas go through testing. We are standing on the threshold of global change:

The future of DeFi: Soon, DeFi protocols may be added to bStocks, and we can use tokenized stocks in decentralized finance.

The author’s personal experience: Vitaliy lives in Estonia and pays directly in cryptocurrency for massage, barbershop, and vehicle repair services. He was one of the first to test the Binance Card, traveling around all of Europe and paying for everything with crypto.

Adoption by the giants: Money is shifting very fast. For example, Samsung is shipping its new phones with crypto wallets built in.

Capitalization: Market capitalization rose to $500 million, and in the short term it climbed to $750 million.

Bonus: Until August 31, there is a 0% commission stock fee on the bStocks platform!

Conclusion: Strategy matters more than the amount. You can simply buy and hold (holding), use dividends, or trade actively during periods of volatility. bStocks is the most effective tool for both beginners and experienced traders.
