Just took a quick look at the data—there’s something going on.
$PORTAL 24 hours: it surged 73%, price at 0.01896, and trading volume was $27 million. That volume is way too large. I checked whether there was any good news—nothing turned up, and even the official Twitter hasn’t updated. This one is basically confirmed to be market-maker/whale action, not news-driven.
Why did it pump? Maybe the market maker needs to do something, or the team is selling during their release window.
Chase it? Forget it. When a rally has no fundamental support, chasing in is basically paying the market maker. Unless you can set a trap in advance, getting in means standing guard at the top.
Let’s look at the other side. $PHB was cut straight at the ankles, down 69%. This kind of waterfall drop isn’t a normal pullback—either the project is in trouble, or liquidity was suddenly drained. I checked the order flow: the volume is only about $1.5 million, so selling pressure isn’t that huge. But the price got smashed like that, which suggests the “catching” power is almost zero.
I don’t recommend catching this kind of falling knife. There’s a basement under the floor.
BTCP is holding steady around 63,360 today, with very small swings—the market overall sentiment is more like it’s waiting and watching.
For a coin like PORTAL that suddenly rips upward—did any of you actually catch meat inside it? Let’s talk.
